I recently submitted my name to another show who was seeking articles for vintage and antique related stories. I am not sure why. I am late for work (first day of tax season at the office officially) and I should be getting ready. But it was one of many impulsive things I do.
Is blogging dead? Do people really read them or are we so enamored with visual things now? I am not really sure – I think I just have been enjoying the writing of more than just a one line text on facebook – haven’t done much of that lately.
What do you think?
I am a person who loves buying, selling and displaying all things vintage. I have always collected vintage but began selling (seriously) when an interior consultant advised me that I had too many collections and needed to share my things at her Paris Flea Market. It was through that experience that I realized I loved to display and share my finds with others; passing along the story of the object, and helping find a place for it in their homes.
I am proud of all the experience I have amassed over the past 10 years, beginning at selling the local college flea markets with my sister, to now some of the best Antique shows in the country. Now, I love producing antique shows with my family and bringing together great talent and vintage items for others to find...while of course, shopping and selling along the way! I hope to see you at the shows..it would be my pleasure to show you some great stuff!

Thanks Ginger! I think its official – I will will will!!!! Sandy.
I think people enjoy visual delights with short bits of useful info… They enjoy the visual of a journey with bits of info so they can imagine the fun being had! Keep it up momma!

Thanks Sara. I appreciate your constant words of encouragement from a distance. Miss seeing you and the boys. Hope its soon!
Such a good question. I get inspiration from pictures and growth from written content. I prefer words most of the time, but then again, time is the problem—there is never enough.
Thanks so much Mark. I think I will take it slow and make my words brief. Thanks for your comments! Sandy.
As a blogger, it’s often easy to feel “no one is reading this”!! But I know they ARE! I make sure each of my blog posts has at least one photo, for those visual peeps . . .and to “promote” my blog and shop . .. .I love reading most anything about vintage!! . . .including your site/blog! Thanks so much Janice. I will take all your comments to heart and start slowly. Thanks for including me too! Sandy.
